hello dear friends and subscribers from youtube today i'm bringin you a new video a video that i know lots of you have been waiting for today im' going to show you how to update the xperia m2 to android 5.1.1 lollipop the proccess is very simple
Android version 5.1.1, and we need: charge the m2 at least a 80% download the 5.1.1 ftf you can grab it from the download centre (link in annotations and description)
a microusb to usb cable and the latest version of flashtools (link in annotations and description) now, once you downloaded the ftf, you must copy it to... .flashtool /firmwares which is located in our user folder once we copied the ftf (which compilation number is 18.6.a.0.175) now open flashtools (which is in c:\flashtool and open the .exe)
now turn off the m2 wait until it finishes once it's off, click on the ray icon in flashtools. choose flashmode now choose the ftf you just downloaded now tick userdata (ticking it makes a clean install, wiping all your data) and let the rest untouched now hit flash!
and now connect the xperia m2 with the vol- button pressed once the led goes red and green, you can stop pressing the button and it'll start flashing and in case it asks about fsc scripts, hit no when the flashing finishes, disconnect the m2 and turn it on
it'll take some more time in first boot as it's still upgrading and that's it! now your device will be succesfully upgraded to android 5.1.1 lollipop i hope you liked this video, and if so, hit the thanks button! see you!
