hi everyone! i'm elle. as you all know, pokemon go is all the hype right now! there are so many people addicted to it. well, i'm one of those people… i really can't stop playing since i downloaded it!
Android yamada, it was july 13th, if i'm not mistaken. since i woke up in the morning, until it's time to sleep at night, i always try to let my pokemongo on standby.
just so if there's any random pokemon shows up, i won’t miss anything. and my eggs can always be hatched. so, not long ago, i saw someone post some tips on the internet about how to level up fast in pokemon go. i already tried it and also recorded the process. so today, i'll share my experience to all of you,
and you can see by yourself that it's very very effective! so from the tips that i saw, basically you have to use ‘lucky egg.’ what is a lucky egg? lucky egg is one of the items in pokemon go, which you can find in the ‘items’ tab. and the function is.. while the egg is activated, any kind of xp that you received,
either from pokestop or from catching a pokemon, whatever it is, will be doubled. but… this lucky egg only works for 30 minutes. well, the biggest xp that you can get is when you catch a new pokemon… pokemon which you never owned before. or when you evolve your current pokemon. but since we can't control the appearance rate of new pokemon in 30 minutes,
then it will be more effective if we use.. evolve!! i already prepare lots of pokemon to evolve. especially the most common ones… i call them 'the annoying 6’ they are pidgey, caterpie, weedle, doduo,
rattata, and zubat. okay, not so much zubat because i usually just skip them. because i think they (zubat) are the hardest one to catch (among the annoying 6), and often when you try to capture them, they will break free or run away, in the end, they’re only going to waste your poke balls… it's good enough we want to catch them in the first place. (so ungrateful -_-) alright, before we get started,
you’d want to mark all the pokemon that's ready to evolve, with this star sign or ‘favorite’ okay, take this doduo for example. i have 750 doduo candies. and if doduo wants to evolve, it’s going to need 50 doduo candies. so, the maximum number of doduo that i can evolve is 15 doduos. sooo, i'll mark 15 doduos with the star or favorite sign.
and i’ll do the same with the other (ready-to-evolve) pokemon too. if everything is marked, we can just sort our pokemon based on ‘favorite,’ which means all the marked pokemon will be shown up first (on top). so we won’t get any trouble to find which pokemon are ready to be evolved, which can waste our time! so we can maximize our 30 minutes!! as you can see,
i have marked all of my ready-to-evolve pokemon. so let's get started!!! my level is 20 at the moment, and my xp is 22285… let's see the final result later! ok… items, lucky egg… *ding* alright.. pokemon…
starts from psyduck… evolve… yes! ok… well, as you may already know, eevee can evolve into 3 different types which are water, fire and electric. and now i want to evolve it into water type first! for water, the trick is… we have to rename it into...
what..? r.. a.. i.. n.. e.. r.. okay! as for fire.. we have to rename it into pyro. and the last one… s p a r k y.
okaaayyy, it's finally done! i’ve successfully evolved around 60 pokemon. my level went from 20 to 21. as for the xp… ok, let's do the math here! from level 20 to 21, we need 50000 xp, while from the beginning, i already had 22285 xp. so in order to reach 50000, i’ve collected 27215 xp, combine it with my current xp (50285)…
the total number of xp i’ve gained is… 78000 xp in 30 minutes time! *yaaayyyyyy!!!* there are 2 conclusions from this video… first, we can really get a big amount of xp in just 30 minutes with the combination of lucky egg and evolve. secondly, the 'annoying 6' can be very annoying sometimes, but as you can see, they're very useful for increasing our xp.
if you feel lazy to catch all 6, at least catch these 3… pidgey, caterpie and weedle. because each one of them only needs 12 candies to evolve! so you don't need to catch a lot, you can easily evolve them and get 500 xp right away even without lucky egg (1000 xp with lucky egg)! that's why, the next time you see them, don't skip. catch ‘em all, gather ‘em all and evolve all! gotta catch 'em all, right? ;)
