all right! let's talk about something boring. something really boring foryour android phone. anti virus. yes, on your computer you have anti virus. should you have anti virus on your phone, wellstrangely enough, if you have
Android Antivirus, an android it's probably a good idea. anti virus on your phone is not so much aboutinfecting your phone with something that can then replicate, so much as it is about really dodgy apps that just try to steal your contacts and addressbook or, you know, start dialling your number
when you're not around and sendingtext messages. so, you know, things that run up billsor are generally a nuisance. also, this particular app, it's avg's onewill check your settings, see if there's anything that's a bit strange in there. yes well, i have untrusted sources turned on,no surprise there i have to test a lot of apps. what it will also do is scan any appyou download. so if you download it and it looks like thepermissions are a bit strange or it's acting in a particular way that avghave noticed is not really
kosher, so to speak, it will basically warn you and then you've gota choice to say no, i'm not actually going to install that app then which i'd say is probablyquite a good idea unless you want to give your address bookaway to some chinese spammers anyway. which you know, if you're crazy.
that was avg, anti virus free, it's free and it stops
really bad stuff happening to your phone. well, i have to say, if you have an iphone youdon't actually have that problem. because apple actually check the apps beforethey allow them to install. remember android is like the wild west, as such get yourself a virtual condom, iesome anti virus.
